Shelter dogs are amazing animals.. To be able to hold sanity, when there is only a kennel or for the lucky ones, an outdoor part of the kennel. Despite a lack of funding, all volunteers feed and care for the over 130 dogs at this location. I will be volunteering there hopefully at some point, but its no easy task.
Those who I have seen volunteering are very serious about the dire needs these dogs have.. I hope I can make a difference in the lives of many dogs. Taking time to assist rehabilitating and releasing animals of all nature is a job done by those who use their time to serve the community and a species as a whole!
Please adopt a shelter dog from a local, non-profit animal shelter.. Ones that euthanize their dogs preferably because those beautiful, loving, playful creatures are depending on You and I to save their lives.. Everyday thousands of animals are euthanized in the United States by animal rights groups as well as county ordinances.
